My educational and teaching history:

I received my BS in mathematics from Gonzaga University, and my MS in Applied Mathematics from University of Colorado, Denver. 

I taught at calculus at UCD until moving to Wenatchee in 1995.  Like all the instructors in the math department, my course load varies from beginning algebra through calculus.

My favorite courses to teach are beginning algebra, because students are so excited when they are finally successful in math, and differential equations because the calculus students can see the power of calculus in modeling different life experiences.  Most of all I like the dynamics of  each distinct class.  Teachers stay in teaching because we love the interaction with students.
